Nice does not really need any further decription...

In my opinion it's like a miniature version of London with the added pleasures of the fantastic weather, the beach and a wealth of flowers and palmtrees...

Our apartment in Nice Garden is 1,5 kilometers from the Promenade des Anglais (in a straight line! If you walk down it will take you 25 minutes).

This means that one is never far away from the always lively city centre, but still the Nice Garden development is situated quietly and peacefully on a hilltop. One can always retreat back up on the Colline St. Phillippe once the hectic city starts taking it's toll!

Obviously driving is the easy way to get up and down the Colline, but there are also city-buses or minitaxies - if one considers sampling the local wines or some chilled, french cider whilst visiting the centre...
